Housekeeper - Calabasas
Location: Calabasas, CA
Schedule: 7am to 6pm, sometimes days will end a bit later *The schedule will change to be an 8 hour shift in January.
Monday–Saturday (Thursdays & Sundays off)
Compensation: $40-45/hour DOE plus OT
A high-profile family in Calabasas is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join their household team. The ideal candidate will be family-friendly, highly organized, and accustomed to working in large estates with other staff members. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail. This is a very busy household with a lot of moving parts - MUST be used to working in busy homes and happy to help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization throughout the home, including deep cleaning and daily upkeep.
-Expertly organize and maintain closets, pantries, and storage spaces to perfection.
-Perform laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care to ensure garments and linens are kept in pristine condition.
-Assist with light cooking and meal prep as needed (home made almond milk, smoothies, salads, tea, washing fruits and veggies, etc).
-Confidently use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
-Support household operations by pitching in wherever needed with a team-player mindset.
-Follow instructions carefully and communicate clearly with the principals and other staff.
-Care for and clean high-end furnishings, surfaces, and finishes with knowledge of proper products and techniques.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience working in large estates and/or high-profile households.
-Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
-Strong housekeeping knowledge, including correct use of cleaning products and methods.
-Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones, apps, and household systems.
-Must be detail-oriented, energetic, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
-Flexible, positive, and eager to help wherever needed.
