Investor Relations Associate
Investor Relations Associate
A prominent hedge fund is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their dynamic and collaborative Client Advisory team. This individual will support the team’s Capital Development, Investor Engagement, and Client Service initiatives. The role will entail diverse responsibilities, and will contribute to project management and process development across various functions.
Hybrid: 4 days on-site / Midtown NYC
Compensation: $100-150k base salary DOE + discretionary bonys & competitive benefits
Responsibilities:
• Ownership of due diligence questionnaires, on-site due diligence meetings, request for proposals and requests
• Ownership, coordination and creation of investor content, including investor reports, investor meeting presentations and communications
• Share ownership of the Investor Relations inbox, monitoring, and responding promptly to
investor questions and requests
• Maintain team's CRM
• Support the team’s outreach efforts by helping organize investor events, sending outreach emails for roadshows, assisting with meeting follow-ups, and investor research ahead of upcoming meetings
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external rules, policies, and procedures as well as regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with the firm’s investment professionals, operations team, and external counterparties to respond to investor requests
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Communications required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant investor relations experience in financial services
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Extremely detail-oriented and strong organization skills
• Strong knowledge of alternative investments universe
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
