Sample Coordinator
We're hiring a highly organized and proactive Sample Coordinator to support a fast-paced retail studio production team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our shoots run smoothly from pre-production through post, working closely with producers, talent, and studio staff. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems on the fly, and has a passion for organization, production, and creative collaboration.
San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 1 remote day/week)
3+ Month Contract
$20–$23/hr
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all pre-production logistics, including scheduling, call sheets, sample tracking, and shoot prep
- Serve as the main point of contact for daily studio operations and talent coordination
- Track product samples from merchandising, ensuring proper tagging, quality, and timely return
- Support on-set teams during shoots to manage timelines and maintain smooth production flow
- Maintain shoot calendars and ensure alignment with creative briefs and production timelines
- Organize and archive imagery, assist with file transfers, and support post-production tasks
- Oversee studio inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Collaborate with producers and art directors to anticipate needs and streamline execution
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production, coordination, or studio support role
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in fast-moving environments
- Comfortable working on-site in a hybrid model (4 days in office / 1 remote)
- Familiarity with creative workflows or asset management tools is a plus
