Procurement & Business Affairs Specialist
Our client, a PR/Marketing & Communications firm, has an immediate need for a detail-driven and strategic Procurement & Business Affairs Specialist to help manage vendor sourcing, pricing negotiations, and contract coordination across a variety of creative, marketing, and production initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can balance operational precision with big-picture thinking.
This is an ASAP need; MUST be available to start Monday, July 28th.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the end-to-end RFI and RFP process—coordinating vendor outreach, proposal evaluation, and selection
- Review and analyze cost proposals, identifying value opportunities and areas for optimization
- Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, legal) to align on project scopes, timelines, and deliverables
- Draft and manage contracts, including SOWs and MSAs, in alignment with organizational policies
- Maintain a centralized vendor library with rates, performance benchmarks, and historical data
- Track vendor performance and address any compliance or service-related issues
- Deliver insights and reporting around procurement trends, risk mitigation, and cost efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or business affairs—preferably in marketing, production, or consumer goods
- Strong background managing RFPs and evaluating supplier pricing and scope
- Comfortable navigating complex vendor agreements and internal approval processes
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis; able to clearly present key takeaways and cost models
- A proactive mindset with a high attention to detail and a drive to improve processes
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with procurement practices at large global companies
- Understanding of creative production agreements and pricing structures
