Help Desk Support Specialist

We’re seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to provide comprehensive technical support across end-user devices, applications, network infrastructure, and AV systems. This hands-on role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, design-driven environment and enjoys supporting both Mac and PC users.

Location: Van Nuys, CA (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite + On-Call Weekend Support
Compensation: $30–$33.65/hr

Key Responsibilities:

End User & Helpdesk Support:

  • Support ~400 users across Mac, PC, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Manage helpdesk tickets, perform workstation refreshes, and maintain IT asset inventory
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (PCI, GDPR, SOC)

Network & Systems Support:

  • Provide Exchange/Outlook, VPN, and network troubleshooting
  • Monitor security alerts (e.g., Sophos), and manage permissions, printing, and file sharing
  • Tier 1 application support (Office365, Adobe CC, SolidWorks, Salesforce, AWS)
  • Set up and support Zoom Rooms, AV, and conferencing systems (Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting)

Telecom Support:

  • Administer VOIP systems (RingCentral, Shoretel) and support call center tech

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field; A+/MCTS certifications preferred
  • 5+ years of technical desktop support experience in hybrid Mac/PC environments
  • Proficient in Windows 10/11, macOS 12–15, Office 365, Active Directory, and imaging tools (InTune, Jamf)
  • Strong customer service skills, including experience supporting C-level executives
  • Experience with helpdesk systems (e.g., Spiceworks, FreshService)
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP), AV/conference room setup, mobile/VOIP support
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., work weekends/on-call, and travel occasionally
