Designer - Kids & Baby

Our client, a fast-growing & fun-loving DTC children's apparel brand, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Designer to join their creative team. This role is integral to the design team, focusing on the operational backbone of design development—including the creation of detailed line sheets, management of design workflows, and coordination across teams. Responsibilities: Assist the design team in sketching and CADs using Illustrator or other tools. Support with assembling tech packs and updates based on product development milestones. Collaborate with production and development teams to track sample progress and ensure design intent is preserved. Maintain and manage the design calendar in partnership with cross-functional teams (production, marketing, sales). Own the upkeep and organization of all design files and libraries (colorways, sketches, prints, tech packs). Implement and optimize internal systems for workflow efficiency (e.g. PLM systems, shared drives, naming conventions). Create and update line sheets for each season across all product categories, ensuring accuracy in pricing, styles, colorways, and descriptions. Act as a liaison between design and other departments to ensure timely deliverables and product accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field. 4+ years of experience in a design, product development, or design operations role (children’s wear or apparel industry preferred). Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and InDesign); familiarity with PLM systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and pivot with shifting priorities. A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
