Recruiter / Executive Assistant

A high-growth fintech company based in the South Bay is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter / Executive Assistant to join its dynamic team. This dual-role position will support internal recruiting efforts under the guidance of the Lead Recruiter, while also providing light executive support to leadership. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of experience within in-house recruiting and will demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a polished, professional presence. This is a rare opportunity to be a trusted team member at a high growth organization that values collaboration and operational excellence.

***Please note this is an in-office role, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Recruiter in full-cycle hiring processes focusing on Engineering and technical talent, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and onboarding
- Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals; maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Conduct resume reviews and initial phone screens, assessing candidates for skill fit and culture alignment
- Coordinate interview logistics across multiple time zones, including candidate communications and panel preparation
- Draft and extend offer letters, assist with negotiations, and ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding
- Maintain accurate candidate records while handling confidential information with utmost discretion
- Provide light executive support, including managing calendars, scheduling internal and external meetings, and coordinating occasional travel for leadership
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to streamline communication and ensure alignment across hiring and administrative processes
- Proactively identify areas of need and offer support where appropriate, with little supervision

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience in internal recruiting roles, administrative support experience a plus, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- High emotional intelligence, professional judgment, and the ability to work with discretion
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands while remaining calm under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High responsiveness via email and SMS
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Slack, and applicant tracking systems (ATS); familiarity with tools such as Notion or Monday.com is a plus

Salary:
$100-$110k yr plus bonus/equity and benefits
