Director, Physical Product & Marketing
Our client, a well-known record company is actively seeking for a detail-oriented Director of Physical Product & Marketing to lead campaigns for physical music releases. This will include everything from vinyl, box sets, deluxe editions, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with top managers and internal teams to honor musical legacies and drive innovative product launches.
This is an ASAP Hybrid Temp-to-hire opportunity in Santa Monica.
Compensation: $56.43/hr
Responsibilities:
- Lead marketing campaigns for vinyl, reissues, and special edition products
- Coordinate with creative, A&R, production, and e-commerce teams
- Develop go-to-market strategies blending physical and digital tactics
- Oversee timelines, budgets, and project execution from concept to post-launch
- Collaborate with artist estates and managers to maintain brand integrity
- Use CRM and market insights to drive product visibility and fan engagement
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years in music marketing, product management, or physical media
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Industry terms and formats
- Experience with physical formats (especially vinyl) and catalog releases
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Familiarity with tools like Monday.com, Canva, and Microsoft Office
- A passion for music history and legacy artists
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- A strategic and creative mindset with attention to detail
- Previous major label experience is a plus.
