Executive Assistant to Founder - AI Start-Up
A fast-growing AI Start-up based in Union Square is seeking a dynamic, experienced and confident EA to support their Founder. This is an incredible opportunity to partner with an impactful entrepreneur at the ground level and be a key part of growing this organization.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of C-Suite support experience in a similar high-growth atmosphere managing ever-shifting priorities & schedules and enjoy organized chaos, while maintaining a calm and confident demeanor. Strong writing skills, PowerPoint proficiency and impeccable communication and customer service skills are imperative. This role will work hand in hand with the Founder and be responsible for triaging priorities and handling action items and follow-ups.
A Day in the life:
• Provide high-level executive support including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning (domestic and international)
• Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems before they arise
• Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison, managing communications with professionalism and discretion
• Draft, proofread, and edit high-quality written communications (emails, memos, documents)
• Support special projects as needed, including fundraising materials, investor follow-ups, customer relationships, and strategic research
• Assist with personal scheduling and ad-hoc tasks on occasion to enable the founder to stay focused on company priorities
• Build, edit, and polish presentations and pitch decks in PowerPoint and Google Slides with minimal direction
• Adapt to shifting priorities and maintain composure under pressure
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with at least 2+ years supporting a startup founder or C-level executive in an early-stage, high-growth or venture backed environment or incredibly fast-paced culture
• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Calm, poised, and confident - especially in high-stress or ambiguous situations
• Flexible and adaptable; thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
