Key Account Director
Our client, a beauty brand, is seeking a Key Account Director to join their growing team in NYC! This individual will lead core retail partnerships, ensuring plans support and reflect the brand's overall vision and long-term growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key retail relationships, acting as the main point of contact and building strong, trust-based partnerships.
- Develop tailored growth strategies for each account, using sales data and market insights to identify opportunities.
- Partner with planning and ops to oversee seasonal forecasts, product launches, and promotional calendars.
- Review sales performance regularly to adjust assortments, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Lead trade term negotiations and serve as the internal champion for retail needs and priorities.
- Execute account-specific marketing plans, making sure they align with both retailer objectives and brand direction.
- Work with creative and digital teams to bring compelling in-store and online activations to life.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing retail accounts, sales, or business development in beauty, CPG, or similar industries.
- Strong track record of building and scaling partnerships with major retailers.
- Hands-on experience with forecasting, budgeting, and negotiating commercial terms.
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about the beauty industry, retail trends, and brand storytelling.
$150,000-$170,000 commensurate of experience + bonus. Hybrid schedule.
