Staff Accountant

Our client, a dynamic and prestigious global investment firm, is looking for a talented Staff Accountant. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong accounting, organizational, administrative, and communication skills. The individual selected will be part of a team that provides accounting and financial support to senior leadership. This role is on-site daily in the Manhattan Beach area.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of quarterly financial statements
• Work with colleagues on initiatives to enhance financial procedures
• Prepare detailed schedules summarizing cash activities and balances
• Reconcile and maintain various general ledger accounts
• Handle special projects and assignments as they arise
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to support operational needs

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or finance
• CPA certification or active candidate preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks and accounts payable software
• Excellent analytical skills and thorough knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
