Videographer & Production Assistant

Seeking a skilled and versatile Videographer & Production Assistant to join a high-performing in-house creative team supporting a unique and fast-growing brand in the lifestyle, apparel, and martial arts industries. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of digital content, ranging from promotional videos to social media campaigns, and requires someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera and in the editing suite.


Brazilian Jiu Jitsu familiarity is highly preferred!

Pay: $25–$35/hr (based on experience)

Location: On-site in Torrance, CA

Status: Temp-to-hire | Open to direct hire



Key Responsibilities

• ssist the Video Production Manager with shoots and independently capture video as needed
• Operate Sony FX3 or other Sony mirrorless cameras
• Handle on-set lighting and audio setup
• Edit footage in Adobe Premiere following brand-approved templates and styles
• Produce short-form, social media-optimized content with a commercial tone
• Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams across multiple brands
• Take creative feedback from leadership and adjust work to meet brand guidelines
• Work confidently in unpredictable and fast-moving production environments

Qualifications‍

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a videographer and video editor
• Strong portfolio demonstrating editing and storytelling capabilities
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (required)
• Experience with Sony mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
• Solid understanding of editing techniques including continuity, pacing, and motivation
• Familiarity with effects, compositing, or 3D tools a plus
• Comfortable taking creative direction and working across departments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience or knowledge is a strong plus
