Sales Trading Assistant
Our client, a global, full-service investment firm, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Trading Assistant to join their team in Manhattan.
This is a hybrid position (onsite Monday–Wednesday), with working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and occasional after-hours client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally manage inbound and outbound calls for the Sales/Trading desk
- Compile and distribute the AM Note Recap summarizing overnight research
- Assist with summarizing research reports for senior sales staff
- Support conference and roadshow coordination, including client communications and registration
- Handle model and data requests; maintain CRM records accurately
- Track client holdings and ensure all interactions are logged for compliance
- Process expense reports and support administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to obtain Series 7 & 63 within 6 months of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong passion for equity markets
