Associate Technical Designer - Women's

Our client, a growing apparel brand, is seeking a Associate Technical Designer - Women's to join their team in New York.


Responsibilities:

-Create and maintain detailed technical specs for new designs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all products.
-Collect, organize, and review fit samples, providing detailed approval comments and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit.
-Apply grading knowledge to ensure size consistency across all product ranges, particularly in womenswear.
-Maintain and update the fit sample log, ensuring all sample information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
-Review current technical specs and provide input to improve product quality and fit.
-Work closely with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all garments meet the company’s standards.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field is preferred.
-Experience in women's knits is a must.
-Strong knowledge of grading techniques and fit processes.
-Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Office software.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision in technical design.
-Ability to work in office full time.
