Production Coordinator

Our client, a Trend Driven Junior's apparel manufacturing company, is seeking an Assistant Designer to support their rapidly growing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day production activities to ensure timely execution from development through delivery
  • Manage and track purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Communicate regularly with overseas vendors to follow up on production status, samples, and shipment timelines
  • Request and track samples, approvals, and bulk production updates
  • Maintain production calendars, WIP reports, and delivery schedules
  • Follow up with factories on key milestones including sample approvals, production progress, and shipping details
  • Partner cross-functionally with Design, Sales, and Technical teams to support product development and execution
  • Assist in resolving PO and production issues as they arise
  • Monitor timelines to ensure on-time delivery in alignment with company standards
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external partners


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in production, product development, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience working with overseas vendors is a plus
  • EDI/AMT experience is a plus
