Senior Merchandiser - Denim

Our client, a wholesale apparel company, is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to lead the development of their denim division. This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City, offering a salary range of $100K–$150K, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead seasonal assortment planning and manage merchandising team
• Enter purchase orders and maintain accurate line sheets each season
• Conduct market research and analyze competitors for trends and pricing
• Run and interpret weekly selling reports
• Coordinate closely with stores on product needs, requests, and deliveries
• Manage and organize the retail sample closet

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising or a related field
• Advanced Excel and Outlook skills
• Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, and constructions
• Established relationships with denim retailers
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
