HR Generalist

Our client, a growing boutique law firm in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a mid-level HR Generalist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your HR skillset in a supportive, professional environment and work directly with the Head of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle recruiting and interviewing
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and culture initiatives
• Partner with the firm’s PEO to manage benefits and payroll
• Ensure HR operations comply with federal and state regulations
• Maintain HRIS and generate reports
• Coordinate training, events, wellness, and employee engagement programs
• Support performance reviews and talent management initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines independently
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
