HR Generalist
Our client, a growing boutique law firm in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a mid-level HR Generalist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your HR skillset in a supportive, professional environment and work directly with the Head of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle recruiting and interviewing
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and culture initiatives
- Partner with the firm’s PEO to manage benefits and payroll
- Ensure HR operations comply with federal and state regulations
- Maintain HRIS and generate reports
- Coordinate training, events, wellness, and employee engagement programs
- Support performance reviews and talent management initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines independently
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
