Interior Designer – Luxury Design Firm
We are seeking a visionary Interior Designer to lead the creative process for prestigious design projects across residential and commercial spaces. In this role, you will partner directly with high-profile clients and oversee projects from concept to completion, delivering timeless, curated environments that reflect each client’s unique style and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit client sites to assess space, gather measurements, and evaluate project feasibility and function.
- Attend client meetings to understand aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs, and intended use of the space.
- Develop conceptual sketches, color palettes, mood boards, and layout plans that reflect client direction.
- Translate creative concepts into technical CAD designs and detailed plans for implementation.
- Present designs for client approval and adjust plans based on feedback.
- Source and manage a network of vendors and subcontractors including carpenters, painters, electricians, and specialty artisans.
- Oversee purchasing of high-end materials, furniture, finishes, and décor in alignment with the project’s design direction and budget.
- Provide hands-on project oversight, including site visits, installation checks, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects without compromising on design integrity or quality.
What You Bring:
- 3–6+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably with high-end residential or boutique commercial projects.
- Proven ability to translate client briefs into elegant, functional spaces with a high level of customization.
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong vendor relationships and knowledge of luxury furnishings and materials.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- A refined aesthetic and deep understanding of current design trends.
