Division VP, Sales & Merchandising - Children's Apparel Company

Our client, a leading manufacturer of children's apparel is seeking a Divisional VP to join their team. This role plays a pivotal part of leadership across the organization, working closely with multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

-Own the product lifecycle from concept through delivery for major retail accounts such as Ross, Burlington, Target, Macy's and Sam's Club
-Manage P&L
-Present line to buyers and negotiate cost-structures
-Perform market research and work cross-functionally to develop retailer-specific programs
-Lead production oversight including development, sourcing and costing
-Set merchandising strategies that align with retail partner goals
-Direct the in-house Design team in developing cohesive collections
-Oversee forecasting and budgeting in partnership with planning
-Use historical data to create SKU assortment strategies
-Develop business plans and reporting to present to upper management
-Lead and mentor team


Requirements:

-10-15+ years experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, specifically within apparel
-Strong track record managing high-volume mass retail accounts
-Proven leadership skills
-Advanced analytical skills
-Bachelor's Degree
