Sampling and Production Coordinator

Our client, a luxury embroidery studio specializing in hand-embellished textiles for fashion and interiors, is seeking a Sampling, Sales & Production Coordinator to join their NYC team. The ideal candidate will have prior embroidery experience and a passion for craftsmanship and high-end production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients in luxury fashion and interiors
  • Schedule and coordinate embroidery sample presentations for clients
  • Maintain and organize showroom embroidery archive; select swatches for meetings and projects
  • Manage sampling and production orders from request to delivery
  • Create accurate purchase orders and communicate details to factory teams
  • Track all sampling and production progress; update clients regularly
  • Maintain detailed seasonal records for all sampling and production activity
  • Support seasonal client meetings and assist with production planning
  • Follow up on payments and coordinate with internal finance teams
  • Assist with day-to-day showroom operations and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in embroidery, luxury textiles, or fashion production
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a good eye for design and quality
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing role
