Executive Assistant | Innovative Biotech Company
A growing biotech start-up based in Palo Alto, focused on innovation and advancing the future of life sciences. As our client expands, they are looking for a talented Executive Assistant to support a Senior Executive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a senior leader and gain exposure to the biotech industry.
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Executive Assistant to manage day-to-day administrative tasks for a Senior Executive. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in an administrative support role, a strong educational background, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment. This role will provide crucial support to ensure the smooth running of operations and the executive’s schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the executive’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Act as a liaison between the Senior Executive and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft and prepare communications, including emails, reports, and presentations.
- Assist with organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Manage confidential information with discretion.
- Organize logistics for meetings, conferences, and company events.
- Provide support for research and special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
- Bachelor’s degree (a background in a science-related field is a plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Experience in a fast-paced or start-up environment is a plus
- Experience in biotech is highly preferred
Compensation - $150 - $185k base + Bonus
