Senior Account Executive - Clubs
Our client, a wholesale apparel brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join their team in New York.
Compensation: $125,000-$200,000
Full time in office, 5 days on site.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all daily, weekly, and monthly account operations for existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities.
- Prepare and lead seasonal market appointments, clearly communicating brand strategy, goals, and product direction.
- Build financial plans by account, setting sales targets and maintaining vendor margin and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with Production to ensure gross margin alignment and timely delivery of product.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide insight on trends, processes, and promotional strategies to remain competitive.
- Lead internal meetings with management to present brand or account performance, needs, and initiatives.
- Conduct regular competitive market research and develop a strong understanding of the customers and retailers we serve.
- Coordinate closely with Sales Operations to ensure seamless order entry, processing, and shipping.
- Represent the brand at trade shows and account meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Established relationships with major retailers and buyers required.
- Experience working with Costco, BJ's, or Sam's Club highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, effective partnerships with accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive in driving results.
- Analytical and confident in working with numbers and financial targets.
- Willingness to travel for account visits and trade shows as needed.
