Personal Assistant to CEO – Hedge Fund

The CEO of a prominent hedge fund is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to work alongside a collaborative team of PAs. The ideal candidate with have be confident, able to handle direct feedback well, and used to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Location: Midtown Office NYC – on site minimum of 3 days/week (hybrid flexibility) – some work out of the household, but this is a mainly office based role

Salary commensurate with experience: $120-140k base + bonus, fully paid benefits, 401k match and PTO


  • BA/BS Degree  
  • 7+ years of relevant PA & EA experience – must have some office/corporate experience along with PA
  • Must be very polished and professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely fluent in Outlook calendar management and ever-changing schedules and priorities
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Team-oriented as this role works with two other PAs on the team
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel for spreadsheets

Responsibilities include:

  • Directly support the principal and his wife/family
  • Manage busy Outlook calendar and contacts for family
  • Online research, gifting and purchases
  • Manage activities and schedules for children
  • Book appointments and reservations
  • Book extensive private and commercial travel
  • Assist with party and event planning
  • Oversee NYC based home staff and assist with daily operations at multiple properties
  • Oversee household inventory
  • Answer and direct calls
