Temp Embroidery Designer

Our client, a famous fashion brand, is seeking an Embroidery Designer to support their team on a temporary basis through mid-July!

You will be working on-site Monday-Thursday.


Responsibilities:

• ‍‍Utilize special stitching techniques to decorate fabrics, garments, and accessories.
• Create embroidery tech packs and embroidered layouts for garments, bags, and shoes
• Conduct creative research for collections and provide design input
• Collaborate directly with vendors and ateliers
• Present full 3-D garments to the team
• Create vector files and embroidery renderings using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Crafting embroideries and embellishments hands on
• Utilize excellent time management skills in collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
• Ensure that deliverables meet budget and time constraints without compromising design excellence

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience, including direct collaboration with embroidery vendors and an atelier.
• Proficient in launching embroidery tech packs and creating embroidered layouts for garments, bags, and shoes.
• Passion for designing and making embroideries
• Strong understanding of the embroidery design process.
• Strong communication skills—visual, oral, and written.
