A baby and children retail apparel and fashion brand is looking for a Copywriter to join their team in a temp to hire role! The ideal candidate is skilled in crafting creative and strategic consumer focused content/. They should demonstrate strong English language proficiency and possess a deep understanding of marketing principles ideally revolving around luxury consumer products or luxury retail.

Job Details

HYBRID: On-Site 3 days a week in Van Nuys, CA (Mon., Wed. & Thur.)

PAY: Hourly $30 - $45/hr / Salary: $70K - $95K, based on experience



•Support the global objectives of the department.
•Craft compelling and persuasive titles, descriptions, and content for all consumer communications.
•Present complex instructional information clearly and engagingly to our target audiences.
•Create impactful copy that distinguishes the consumer brand and reflects its voice and values: Contemporary, Smart, and Inventive.
•Guarantee that the copy resonates with customers and actively supports important initiatives.
•Produce concepts that can be expanded into campaigns and maintain consistency across various materials.
•Dissect and adjust all provided information for each project, including creative briefs and related materials.
•Maintain a deep understanding of industry marketing strategies and business principles.
•Tactically communicate core points, benefits, and details with creative briefs and broader brand objectives.
•Assume responsibility for projects throughout their lifecycle, proactively addressing and resolving challenges prior to execution, and working closely with the design team to seamlessly incorporate copy into final presentations and designs.


•A bachelor's degree in English or Journalism.
•3-5+ years of print and web copywriting experience.
•Must be able to work on-site in Van Nuys, CA.
•Showcase of a digital portfolio highlighting strategic and innovative capabilities.
•Possess exemplary writing skills and acute attention to detail, meticulously reviewing and fact-checking all content for accuracy and consistent messaging.
•A deep understanding of advertising methods and marketing principles within the consumer packaged goods industry.
•Capacity to comprehend technical content swiftly and adeptness at grasping new concepts.
•Implementation experience with digital metrics (e.g., email open rates, conversion rates, A/B testing).
