GM / Director of Membership Operations

Our client is a unique Omakase Membership concept offering an original dining experience located in the vibrant city of Miami, dedicated to providing exceptional Japanese cuisine and personalized service. This establishment will be renowned for its meticulously crafted tasting menus, curated selection of premium ingredients, and immersive dining atmosphere. As they continue to elevate the standard of fine dining in Miami, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as the Omakase General Manager and Director of Membership Operations.

Position Overview:

The Omakase General Manager and Director of Membership Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our omakase dining experience and membership program. This individual will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, maintaining exceptional service standards, and driving membership growth and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for Japanese cuisine, and a proven track record of leadership in a similar upscale dining environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring top-notch service and culinary standards.
Manage membership program, driving acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Cultivate a welcoming environment and oversee team performance.
Monitor financials and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bilingual with Japanese
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in hospitality management, with a focus on upscale dining or luxury hospitality.
Strong knowledge and appreciation of Japanese cuisine, particularly omakase dining.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment.
