Technical Designer

Our client, a Wholesale Girl's Apparel Brand, is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:‍

• Manage the product lifecycle, including pre-production processes and fit approval
• Develop detailed computerized specification packages
• Collaborate with the Design team to update measurements and specifications
• Communicate with overseas offices and vendors to address production issues
• Coordinate fit sessions and review sample evaluations
• Utilize digital tools to communicate corrections and approve garments for production
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor fit and specs

Requirements:‍

• 3+ years of technical design experience
• Strong knowledge of apparel fitting and specs
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
