Merchandise Planner

Our client, a luxury jewelry brand, is seeking a Merchandise Planner to join their team in NYC! This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Merchandising and Wholesale to drive sales, profitability, and inventory optimization strategies.

Responsibilities:‍

Collaborate with the Director of Merchandising to craft department-level sales and inventory plans aligned with brand objectives.
Manage the open-to-buy and planning calendar to ensure efficient inventory management.
Lead demand planning processes and supervise monthly reorders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Analyze sales and product performance data, offering insights and recommendations.
Coordinate with wholesale partners, providing assortment insights and product recommendations for enhanced efficiency.
Maintain line sheets and manage the creation of new SKUs in Shopify.

Requirements:‍

5+ years of experience as a Planner or Merchandise Planner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Experience in luxury jewelry or fashion retail preferred.
Exceptional communication abilities with a capacity to work independently.
