Account Manager, Homeware

Our premiere wholesale homeware client, is seeking a dynamic account manager to join their team!


  • Lead and manage customer account relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, stakeholders & executive sponsors.
  • Ensure timely & successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs & objectives.
  • Maximize sales profitability, growth and account penetration with current accounts.
  • Analyze and identify market trends to assess opportunities.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Clearly communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.


  • 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role with Walmart!
  • Experience and understand of the housewares industry are a plus.
  • Walmart Experience preferred.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
  • Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter.
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint).
