Design Director

Our client, a wholesale apparel company, is looking for a Design Director to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:‍

• Oversee all related job responsibilities for the design team
• Develop designs based on style plans, sales needs, and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain quality and aesthetic standards.
• Lead the conceptualization of seasonal design concepts.
• Manage and oversee a team of 6
• Oversee product development timelines.
• Troubleshoot quality and technical issues.
• Manage handoff processes and approve materials.
• Foster a positive team dynamic and evaluate team performance.

Qualifications:‍

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fashion design.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in design software and Mac platforms.
