Senior Designer, Women's Intimates + Sleepwear

Our client, an off-price wholesale apparel company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ladies Intimates Senior Designer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in designing ladies intimates and sleepwear, coupled with a deep understanding of the off-price market.

-Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization and creation of innovative and trend-setting ladies intimates designs. - Develop design concepts that align with the company's brand image and cater to the preferences of off-price market consumers.
-Market Understanding: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the off-price market dynamics and the specific requirements of retailers like Ross, Burlington, TJX, etc. - Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to ensure our designs remain competitive and appealing.
-Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of design concepts from inception to production. - Collaborate with retailers to understand their unique needs and preferences, adapting designs to meet market demands.
-Technical Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard design tools to create detailed sketches, tech packs, and other necessary documentation for the production team. - Provide technical guidance to the production team to ensure the accurate realization of design concepts.
-Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality standards for ladies intimates, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations. - Conduct regular quality assessments and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in ladies intimates design, with a focus on the off-price market.
- Proven track record of working with major off-price retailers, such as Ross, Burlington, TJX, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
