Staff Accountant

We are actively seeking a bright, and analytical Staff Accountant with strong organizational skills to join our growing Accounting division in our beautiful Century City headquarters!

We have offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Miami, and New York.

The Staff Accountant, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, will be an integral part of our firm’s accounting function. Assisting with Accounts Payable, month end close, and supporting accurate and timely processing of all related information.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Create vendor accounts with payment information, obtain vendor W9, and assist with year-end 1099s.
• Code & post invoices, Corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements.
• Create and post payments and batches.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of month end journal entries and corresponding account reconciliations
• Assisting with archiving, filing and organization of paper & electronic records as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Position requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and outstanding follow through skills are a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass full background check, including credit check.
