Photo Studio Project Manager

A retail apparel and fashion brand is seeking a Photo Studio Project Manager to oversee the coordination of multiple photo shoots, ensuring seamless execution and on-time asset delivery. This role requires managing shot lists, tracking samples, and maintaining workflow efficiency across product laydown and on-figure photography.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills and can work in pivot tables, can work in a nimble environment at a large ecommerce photo studio or ad agency or start up environments would be strong parallels.

Pay: $30 - $34/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination of multiple simultaneous photo shoots within the internal Photo Studio.
  • Develop and manage shot lists, ensuring accurate data management in the workflow system; address shot request discrepancies with relevant business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sample Coordinators to monitor and track outstanding samples required for photo shoots.
  • Help schedule product laydown and on-figure photo sessions, while managing the daily workflow of sh
  • Lead priority projects in the studio to ensure on-time delivery of assets; serve as the main contact for inquiries about sample and shot list accuracy for both laydown and on-figure photography.
  • Deliver precise weekly photography performance metrics to the Account Management Team; analyze data and provide insights for improving future shoots.
  • Develop, distribute, and maintain seasonal shot guidelines, aligning shot strategies with approved budgets.


Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Exceptional focus on accuracy in a fast-paced setting with numerous tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Highly resourceful, capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Skilled in analyzing and explaining insights from diverse data sources to back up recommendations.
  • Excellent ability to perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a comprehensive approach to finding solutions.
  • Effective at fostering relationships and collaborating with employees at all levels, including senior leadership.
