Sr. Designer, Gen Z Womenswear

Our client, a full service design manufacturing company, is seeking a Sr. Designer to join one of their womenswear teams in NYC!

Responsibilities:

-Participate in design development for girls sportswear/street style
-Conduct market research, create inspiration boards, designs, sketches, and CADs
-Attends design meetings and share presentation boards
-Research current and future trends for color, fabric, and trim
-Create detailed flat sketches
-Attend and participate in fittings
-Make design comments for style changes and update sketches
-Pitch colorways for fabric developments

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
-6-7+ years of experience across multiple categories
-Solid presentation skills; previous experience presenting product and speaking to POV; must be able to present product to Target
-Very ‘in the know’ with the Gen Z market
-Polished CAD work
-Comprehensive understanding of fabrics
-Highly collaborative and strong communicator
-Expert in Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
-Extremely organized; excellent time management is essential

Salary: $100,000-$115,000
