Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a nationally renowned litigation law firm concentrating on complex civil matters, is seeking a motivated Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join their Miami office! They are seeking candidates who have prior litigation experience and are experienced with attending trials.

This is a hybrid role of 2-3 days on-site.

Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously
• Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings
• Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case material
• Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners
• Monitor case filings and scheduled deposition for our client(s)
• Prepare for trials for our national client(s)
• Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.

Candidate Requirements
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of independent work
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and legal systems such as Westlaw, File & Serve Xpress, PACER
