Help Desk Support Specialist

Our client, a baby brand in Los Angeles is looking for a temp Helpdesk Support Specialist to join their team on an ASAP need. In this role you will provide top-notch IT support to the company’s internal and remote users. The ideal candidate with be an expert with both PC and Mac workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals in a hybrid environment.

This is a temp opportunity with the possibility to convert to full-time.

MUST be able to work fully onsite and on call on weekends.

Pay: $30-38/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert-level helpdesk support for hardware/software issues for approximately 400 users.
  • Set up and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate daily support and manage helpdesk tickets.
  • Enforce corporate cybersecurity standards and compliance regulations.
  • Provide day-to-day support for network infrastructure, telephone, printing, and desktop systems.
  • Support and troubleshoot VPN connectivity, maintain email systems, and manage network printing.
  • Provide tier 1 support for customized applications and SaaS environments.
  • Administer telecom systems, including setup and support for phones and call centers.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science and/ or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience
  • Strong Desktop support skills including support for PC and MAC computers, with emphasis in Windows 10/11 and MAC OS X (12 – 15) operating systems
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel overnight for work and/or training
  • Available for on-call support and weekends
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group settings.
  • Strong communication skills
