Visual Merchandising Director

Our client, a multi-brand retailer, is seeking a Visual Merchandising Director to join their team in Lynbrook, Long Island!

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the company’s -brand, marketing objectives, and sales goals
-Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure cohesive brand presentation across all channels
-Build example floor sets for guidance amongst brick + mortar location.
-Establish Visual Merchandising Standards
-Lead, mentor, and develop a team of visual merchandisers to achieve high standards of visual excellence
-Provide ongoing training and support to ensure team members are up-to-date with current visual merchandising trends and techniques
-Oversee the creation and installation of window displays, in-store displays, and seasonal merchandising plans
-Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained consistently across all retail locations
-Manage the production and distribution of visual merchandising materials and props
-Analyze sales data to measure the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed
-Collaborate with the retail operations team to optimize store layouts and product placement
-Work closely with the buying and inventory teams to ensure product availability aligns with visual merchandising plans
-Partner with the marketing team to create visually compelling campaigns that drive traffic and conversion
-Become a stakeholder in new store build outs by offering expertise in best practices.
-Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies in VM

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field.
-Minimum of [5] years of experience in visual merchandising, with at least [2] years in a leadership role.
-Strong creative vision with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual displays.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
-Experience in a fast-paced retail environment with a strong understanding of retail operations.
-Ability to travel as needed to oversee visual merchandising execution at various retail locations.
