Director of Estate Operations / Miami

We are seeking a top of class Estate Manager / Chief of Staff to oversee four high end properties in Miami. This role will oversee all building maintenance, repairs, projects and improvements across four residential properties located in Miami metropolitan area. This individual will interface daily with the principal to ensure the streamlined operation of all residences. This role includes the management of regular maintenance performed by third-party vendors, including safety and security systems, HVAC, internet, landscaping, and irrigation.

-Strong experience managing the life of a busy UHNW executive and the moving parts associated with it
-Supervised and/or assisted vendors with assigned work. Conducted performance
-Identified issues with residential property spaces including property structure, hardware, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical failure or breakdowns. Performed small repairs on household equipment, appliances, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
-Assisted with updating administrative spreadsheets (Preventative Maintenance, Outstanding Projects, etc.)
-Experienced in project management methodologies, including project experience in scoping and budgeting capital improvement projects.
-Skilled in contract negotiation and the ability to oversee large groups of vendors, including architects, builders, engineers, consultants, and landscape designers.
-Experienced in maintaining the confidentiality, safety, security, and privacy of a private employer.
-Tech-savvy: complete comfort with all standard Mac computers and internet skills including email; apps; calendaring programs; Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel); project management/messaging tools; various online portals for scheduling; quick learner of new apps.
-Payroll, Quickbooks and accounting for all homes

-Ability to anticipate next steps by thinking creatively, solving problems, and taking a broad perspective to make the Principal's lives easier. Takes ownership of work, thinks strategically, and is resourceful.

Salary $180k-225k DOE plus benefits + bonus
