Front Desk Administrative Assistant

Our client, a thriving and successful venture capital and private equity firm located in Palo Alto is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join their collaborative team. In this role you will be responsible for both traditional front desk and office support, as well as vendor management, team event planning, and various projects. ***This is an onsite role located in Palo Alto, CA.

• Thoughtfully serve as the face of the Palo Alto office, greeting and guiding guests to ensure excellent service as well as answering/directing phone calls with the upmost professionalism
• Conduct scheduling assistance to maximize productive use of meeting rooms, keeping supplies stocked
• Manage the presentation and organization of the lobby, working with the Office Manager to keep the site running smoothly
• Coordinate the lunch service for employees, scheduling and organizing lunch deliveries
• Remain available to assist teams with project where they require additional support
• Assist with light event planning as needed, including internal and external events
• Complete data entry projects, including expense report filing and other receipt management
• Generally maintain a consistent excitement to support the office and establish best practices

• 1-3 years within a reception or front office role is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Those with experience in professional services are encouraged to apply (including insurance, law firms, venture capital, etc.)
• Ability to thrive and independently drive progress forward
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• MUST have strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, and be open to learning new technologies

Salary Range
$70K - $80K base salary range.
Company offers bonuses and robust benefits.
