Purchase Order Manager - High-Growth Consumer Goods Brand


- Order Management
- Maintain a high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work
- Work to develop and improve processes around the following order entry steps:
- Process customer orders between systems, business partners, and customers, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely
- Review incoming orders for accuracy, contract compliance, and business guidelines
- Enter order, routing, and financial data in systems to ensure timely processing and shipping, delivering a high level of quality that minimizes the risk of delays
- Resolve order processing and invoicing issues, escalating when necessary
- When necessary, responsible for creating export documentation for international shipments to follow compliance regulations, including general and hazmat classified orders
- Work closely with Supply Chain Management to secure ocean, truck, and air freight where applicable.
- Assist in creating and training 3PL on new customer’s shipping and delivery requirement guidelines
- Assist in doing inventory reconciliation, and monitoring levels based on forecasted quantities against projected and actual sales
- Coordinate with warehouse operations in Jacksonville and Sweden to ensure orders are picked and packed, and work with them on updating manual paperwork for export, tracking, and booking transportation.
- Resolve any A/R issues and escalate when necessary
- Other projects as assigned
- Internal and external stakeholder support
- Engage cross-functional partners to drive sustainable process improvements
- Optimize Order Management metrics that will assist in improving productivity, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain customer data such as ship-to addresses and essential contact lists
- Coordinate and assist with internal questions related to order processing
- Perform duties and special requests as required by team leader and manager to ensure timely order processing and high customer service
- Ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service objectives
- Travel to Jacksonville warehouse as requested


- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with EDI order processing, invoicing, and data entry
- Experience with order processing systems; SPS Commerce and NetSuite preferred
- Excellent communication in both written and verbal forms
- Knowledge of EDI 850s, 855s, 856s, and 810s
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment and be a self-starter
- Experience with management of shipping vendors - FedEx, UPS, Freight Carriers
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail and quality
- History of a strong relationship with the business delivering services/solutions to customers
- Curious mind with an ability to quickly learn new tools and processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
