Temporary Receptionist

Our client, a Public Relations & Communications Services firm, is looking for a Temporary Receptionist to join their New York office! The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, friendly, and professional with top-notch customer service skills.

This will be an ongoing temp assignment with no set end date with potential to extend and could later convert to permanent for the right fit.

Hours: 8am – 5pm, 8:30am – 5:30pm & 9am – 6pm (will rotate between this schedule)
*Fully Onsite

Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors by welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
• Monitor visitor management system and issue visitor passes
• Schedule and ensure management of conference room reservations
• Maintain the appearance of the reception area
• Collaborate with Office Manager to establish procedures
• Receive deliveries of office materials and unpack shipments
• Check conference rooms throughout the day for neatness
• Assist with catering set up and breakdown for client and team events
• Offer support/back-up coverage to other administrative staff as needed

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of related experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
• Works well independently and as a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds of office related equipment
