Receptionist
Our client, a growing financial services company is looking for an experience Receptionist to join their team! This is an hourly position of $19-$22/hr ($39,520 - $45,760K) + a discretionary bonus and benefits.
Job Description: Receptionist
The role of the receptionist is to create a welcoming environment for the organization, its clients, and guests. Help a company present its brand in a positive and pleasant way to clients, employees, and customers, while assisting in organizing and facilitating the day-to-day tasks of the corporation.
Responsibilities:
- Arranging travel arrangements such as flights and booking hotels for executives, sales teams, or other company representatives
- Answering phones and greeting visitors in a professional manner
- Greeting visitors and providing them with general information about the company’s products or services
- Coordinating meetings, including arranging room setup and equipment rental, distributing meeting materials, taking minutes, and keeping track of action items Scheduling meetings with clients or other individuals on the senior management team
- Processing incoming calls and recording messages when the receptionist is not available to take messages
- Checking in guests who have scheduled appointments with company executives or clients
- Maintaining calendars for all executives in the company, ensuring that meetings are scheduled appropriately and that all parties are aware of upcoming events Providing basic customer service, including responding to requests for information about products or services offered by the company
Qualifications:
- Time management skills to be able to prioritize activities, especially when there is a high volume of tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure that all company memos are free of any errors
- Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone
- Communication skills to be able to communicate with internal team members or clients and understand their needs
- Strong organizational skills to keep multiple calendars organized
- Administrative skills to be able to use basic computer programs including Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change
Hours for this role are 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with flexibility to work every other Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
