Technical Design Manager - Kids Apparel

Our client, a growing childrenswear brand, is seeking a Technical Design Manager to join the team in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team and production team on overall product design to offer technical expertise and knowledge
• Review and approve pre-production samples and provide feedback
• Lead fittings on models and provide fit and overall construction comments to factories and team
• Strong comprehension of measurements, dimensions, clothing construction and fit.
• Maintain a productive and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical design role, ideally kids clothing
• Strong organizational skills, and ability to pay strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
• Ability to work in the NYC office FULL TIME
